Disaster Recovery Resources
Recovering from a natural disaster takes planning, resources (volunteers, equipment, supplies, funding, etc.), coordination, and time. Typically, the first considerations following a disaster should be to create safe spaces nearby the affected community (e.g. Red Cross shelters) and to provide essential services, such as water, food, sanitation, healthcare, and mental health support.
